Internet Party 3 is up today on Cracked!

The IP series holds a very special place in my heart. The first Internet Party was only my second sketch with Those Aren’t Muskets, and it’s just crazy to me to see what’s the same and what has changed for myself and my friends in five years.

People have gotten married, engaged, divorced. There have been graduations and Masters degrees. We’ve gotten new cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment. People have moved away and moved back. Cracked.com became a huge part of a lot of our lives. But what I love the most is that a lot of the people that I met in 2008, I still call my friends and collaborators to this day. And to those that I’ve met since the beginning, I am just so grateful for your friendship.

In that first photo, I was a college sophomore who was thinking she had made a huge mistake going to college for theater, who hadn’t even drank yet, and who was just happy to make the people on set laugh.

Today, I write and perform comedy in Los Angeles, I’m sober, and I am still just happy to show up and make people laugh.

So thanks for that.

A really nice write up of one the first sketch comedy videos (eventually series) I’ve seen.

A muse—probably the more awful one—talked to me on Saturday, and inspired me to cut together some scenes from Star Trek: First Contact.

It is probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done, but, hey, it makes me laugh.

On stardate 46780.3, the Borg assimilated a renowned Matryoshka doll maker into the collective, giving their fleet a distinct and really stupid advantage over the Federation.
During the Second Battle of Sector 001, Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise-E encountered this new Borg adaptation with dumb, dumb results.

There’s a new DEAD PARENTS AVENGER this week.

Check it out! It’s about amputated limbs and folks with stereo nipples. Crazy, right?

Anyway, the featured pictures is from a DPA comic I started and abandoned in 2007.

It was a time when I just found the filter option in Photoshop and used it to lay waste to every drawing I had.

I guess it’s a style. It’s moody, for one, but overall I don’t like it. The story, though, has stuck with me for a long time, and I finally get to finish it.

FUN TIDBIT: Everyone is featured without eyes because back then, I couldn’t draw eyes, only anime eyes. I figured no eyes was better than anime eyes.
